Our fall fundraiser began this week with World's Finest Chocolate. We hope to raise $10,000 to support arts, field trips, school activities, and staff through the PTO. Students can sell chocolate at home, to friends, neighbors, family and at events they attend (sporting events are a great way to sell). A permission slip was sent home with students for parents to sign, if they want to participate. Once that signed permission slip comes back to school, 1 or 2 boxes (you choose on the form) will be delivered to your child's backpack. There are 40 assorted flavor (caramel, dark chocolate pretzel, crisp, milk chocolate, almond) chocolate bars in each box, they sell for $2 each, so $80 will be collected and returned to school (cash or check made out to Westview PTO). Once you open a box, you are responsible for returning $80 to school - you cannot return what you don't sell. You can choose to get another box by signing the money envelope that comes back to school. Children also can earn prizes for selling.
