Alaska'd Digital Archives present a wealth of historical photographs, albums, oral histories, moving images, maps, documents, physical objects, and other materials from archives, museums, and libraries.  Most items are available for download. 
The Community Research Quarterly (CRQ) has been published since 1978 and is under the umbrella of the Community Planning Department.  The CRQ presents current socio-economic data that covers: Cost of living factors, Economic indicators, Employment Housing, Population and social conditions, and U.S. Census updates.
Alaskan historical newspapers have been digitized as part of the Library of Congress's Chronicling America project. List of specific AK newspapers by location with links. 
The University of Alaska Fairbanks has built the largest collection of archival films in and about Alaska.  The collection combines hundreds of donations of film and videos to UAF by individuals, organizations, and institutions.  Materials range from professional productions to amateur home movies, made in and about Alaska from the earliest days of filmmaking through today.

Alaskan Communities: This database includes in-depth information for each Alaskan community as well as links to community plans, maps, and photos.  Find contact information for municipalities, federally recognized tribes, school districts, regional corporations, and village corporations.
