My name is Matt Johnson and I am the Family Resource Coordinator at Westridge. I am excited about being a Timberwolf. 

I was born and raised outside of Houston, Texas, and I am a graduate of Texas Christian University with a degree in Criminal Justice. After graduating from TCU, I received a Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. My wife and I have been married since 2008 and have five girls. I love college football, soccer, being outside and hanging out with my family. 

My philosophy is “to develop leaders to serve”. Before I became a Family Resource Coordinator, I served as a pastor of families. Through many community opportunities, I have had the privilege to volunteer with several groups including Shelby Prevention, Community Collaboration for Children, 4H, FCA Chaplain and in Shelby County Public Schools. I also had the ability to serve on multiple advisory boards from Area Substance Abuse Prevention to Family Resource Councils.
