Westonka Community Theatre's Children's Playhouse Programs are super popular annual productions for grades 2+ where the kids not only have a ton of fun, but learn about creating the magic of theater as a team!

Summer of 2025: Fairytale Forest News

Our amazing WCT kids wrote, staged, and performed an entertaining and creative news program where the dashing investigative news team followed the story of Little Red Hen as she tried in vain to get her fairy-tale friends to help with her cake.

However, they were just too busy with their own activities... like Bake Squad (where Dragon struggles with burning cakes at times), Book Club (where BBW does NOT eat the other members), house building (3 little piggies need a bigger brick house!), and making Wolf Smoothies for Little Red Riding Hood's Grandma!

The most eager to help is the enthusiastic Frog Prince... but his taste in cake ingredients and party food is, well, a little buggy if you know what we mean...

Does she share her cake or say, "forget it, you lazy fairytale bums, make your own cake!"
