Board Member

Westonka Community Theatre is seeking new members to replace retiring board members. These are “At-Large” positions.

Westonka Community Theatre Board Members must have a distinct passion, in general for theater and specifically for the advancement of Westonka Community Theatre. A collaborative style, an eagerness to work with others and an understanding and connection to the Westonka community are assets for members of the board.



Expectations of active WCT Board Members include, but are not limited to the following:

- Attend and participate in monthly meetings*. This includes making business, logistic and creative decisions and solving problems. Meetings are typically Sunday evenings.

- Serve on and/or chairing a production committees

- Share ideas and expertise to improve and run the WCT

- Promote Westonka Community Theatres and WCT productions

- Participate in some element of the annual production.

- Commit to a minimum of a two year term as a The WCT member at large

*Additional board meetings may be added to deal with issues specific to WCT productions.
