West Geauga Choirs

Welcome! 

The West Geauga Choirs are directed by Miss Samantha Weiskind. Our choir program includes 6th grade choir, 7th grade choir, 8th grade choir, Class Act Junior, MS Solo and Ensemble, Concert Choir, Chorale, Class Act and HS Solo and Ensemble. 

Each ensemble participates in multiple performances per year, and our yearly schedules are available at each school's open house, posted in class, and on this site under the "Calendars" tab. Information for parents/students regarding performance times, locations, and required attire is available in the MS/HS choir handbook (distributed in class and at open house). In class reminders will occur around event dates, and if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Miss Weiskind via email.  

Current students and families can access a Google Classroom for their choir class that includes assignments, forms, and announcements. Codes for each class can be found in the handbook.

Samantha Weiskind is honored to serve as the West Geauga Choir Director for the first year. She teaches all middle and high school choirs, as well as Class Act Junior, Class Act. She also directs the middle and high school musical theater programs. Groups under her direction have performed at OMEA adjudicated events, receiving Excellent and Superior ratings. Miss Weiskind holds a Bachelor of Music Education from The Ohio State University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Music Education at Kent State University.
