Membership is a wonderful way to support the WBCHS, but everyone is welcome to contribute.  Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and preserve our local history for future generations.

In addition to monetary donations and memberships, the Historical Society hosts fundraising events throughout the year.  By attending our events, volunteering, or becoming a sponsor, you're helping preserve Iron River's rich history while supporting future exhibits, educational programs, and historic preservation projects.

The WBCHS served as a fiscal sponsor for The Historic Iron River Mural Project- allowing donors to make a tax deductible contributions through the Society in support of the mural.   The mural was envisioned  by Tricia Talso and painted by Brett Nelson, both of whom have deep family roots in the Iron River area and share a passion for preserving its rich history for future generations.  The mural is expected to be be completed by summer 2027.
