Grade 12 All-Star Combo

BAND DIRECTORS!

Nominate your most outstanding performers for the West Coast Jazz Festival All-Star Grade 12 Jazz Combo. Students selected will be notified as soon as possible in February. They will be given a jazz standard to prepare. They will perform at the West Coast Jazz Lunchtime Feature Concert at. Directors can nominate 1, 2 or 3 players (or none). Prioritize your nominations 1st choice, 2nd choice, etc. Please include students phone # and email if possible. Please list previous awards, honour groups and accomplishments (not including in-school awards), and even jazz camp experience or any other information you think would help in the selection process.

CRITERIA: Students must be grade 12 and players of high caliber. Participation in jazz combos recommended. Should be comfortable soloing over chord changes. Our goal is to have as many schools represented as possible.
