Our Photo Sharing site is hosted by Shutterfly. It's a free account that we set up and is designed especially for groups who want the ability for various people to upload pictures and videos to share with the rest of the group. Anyone (with or without a Shutterfly account) can go to the site to look at and/or download pictures at no cost. To download pictures, open the album (by clicking the name or the large picture), scroll through the photos, click the image you want...

then select SAVE IMAGE AS and save the image to your computer.

In order to upload your pictures to the site you must have an account with Shutterfly. It takes about a minute to set up an account, they require very little information, and the best news is that accounts at Shutterfly are absolutely free.
(NOTE: Because digital photos can be easily downloaded and edited, you could be at risk of losing control of or losing credit for your photos after they are published online. If you have any concerns about other people seeing, editing, using or printing your photos, you should probably refrain from uploading photos to Shutterfly or to any other photo sharing site such as Flickr, Snapfish, Facebook, etc.)
Should you want to make prints of the pictures you download, you can use whatever avenue you usually use to make photo prints - i.e. printing them yourself or using Walmart, Target, Snapfish or any place else that makes prints. You can also, if you choose to, simply use the system there at Shutterfly. Last time we checked, 4x6 prints through Shutterfly were 15 cents each.

When you get there, you can either add to an existing album by clicking the NAME (i.e. 35th Class Reunion) or you can create a new album with ADD ALBUM.
Either sign in to your regular Shutterfly account (if you have one) or set up a new account. If you already have an account a SIGN IN window will appear. If you do not, a SIGN UP window will appear similar to this:
At this time you need only supply your name, email and create a password. You will have to provide your mailing address only if you want to order and receive prints.
Once you either sign in or sign up, another window will open that looks like this:
Go ahead and (1) name A NEW ALBUM or choose an EXISTING ALBUM. If you have pictures that would apply to an EXISTING ALBUM, you can simply add to that album. For example: There's already a 45th Reunion Album. If your pics are from the 45th Reunion, you can either add to the existing album with others' photos or you can create an additional 45th Reunion Album to keep your photos separate from the others. We're OK either way you choose! :)
Then click the (2) UPLOAD tab at the top of the page.
Once you click the UPLOAD tab, you'll see a window that looks like this:
Double check the name of your NEW ALBUM or choose an EXISTING ALBUM. Click on the CHOOSE FILES button and then find the picture(s) you wish to upload on your computer. Select as many as you want. (You can upload numberous photos at the same time)
Your list of pictures wll then show up in the window like this:
Simply click UPLOAD PICTURES. Once the upload is completed then click on the red 'X' in the upper right corner of the ADD PICTURES window. You'll then be able to add a Description, Tags and a Title to your photos. Once you've completed that, click SAVE and your album will show up on the site for everyone to enjoy!
