WHS Class of 1969 – 55-Year Class Reunion CRUISE
September 16-20, 2024 – 4 Nights

Itinerary: Leaves L.A. harbor at 4 pm on September 16
and returns 8 am on September 20.
Our WHS reunion cruise is fast approaching so it’s time to pay in full! Final payment for the cruise is due no later than July 3 rd but our AAA travel agent, Anna, is going on vacation the end of June and recommends you contact her before June 29 th with your payment so she can get you paid in full and send you a receipt. You may also pay RCCL directly if you prefer but Anna can do it for you and can answer any of your questions at the same time. She has also asked me to let you all know that AAA is offering reasonable travel insurance so if any of you would like to purchase that you should contact Anna. She can also help you secure drink packages, wifi packages, the wine tasting event, gratuities, etc. If you put a deposit down last June, your gratuities (for cabin steward and waiters) is $64 rather than the new price of $72 so when you pay for your cruise with Anna, you can prepay your gratuities at the discounted rate if you’d like.

For those of you who did not reserve a spot for this cruise, there may still be some cabins available and again, Anna would be the one to contact. There are nearly 180 people booked on the cruise with most of them being WHS graduates and their spouses, however you do not need to be a WHS graduate to attend so if you have family or friends who want to join in, feel free to invite them.
We will have an exclusive complimentary Welcome Aboard cocktail party on September 16th from 4:30 – 5:30 pm and a Farewell Fiesta cocktail party on September 19th from 4:30 – 5:30 pm. There will also be a private wine tasting event for our group with a charge of around $40 pp that can be paid for onboard but this event is limited to 60 people so be sure to let Chris (Herman) Schlunz know if you want a spot held for you.
We will have nametags available for these events but if you happen to have one from a previous reunion, bring it along and wear it at the onboard events so classmates will know who you are! Our list on this website is not complete as we’ve had some additions and a few cancellations so it would be really helpful if you could send Chris an email letting her know who is coming in your group so she can update the list and give her your email address so she can send you updates directly prior to the cruise.
