West Indian Herping provides field support for researchers, university students and other professionals carrying out wildlife research in Trinidad & Tobago.

Our team has experience locating and working with a range of wildlife groups in the field, including reptiles, amphibians, arachnids and other species.

Areas of Support

Depending on the project, we may be able to assist with:

• Locating target species in the field

• Field handling and identification

• Specimen collection where legally permitted

• Site selection and local field knowledge

• Field transport and logistics

• Night fieldwork and biodiversity surveys

• Assistance with research sampling and field methods
