Schloss Nordkirchen

Germany boasts a staggering 25,000 castles, with 17 [in Werne. We managed to visit two of these majestic structures. While tours are offered in Dutch, German, and English, time constraints meant we skipped the guided experience. Nonetheless, wandering the castle grounds and admiring the architecture was so much fun. These castles aren't just historical landmarks; they're also sought-after wedding venues, fun fact my host mother got married in a tower in this castle.

Catholic Churches

There is so much History in the churches with art dating back to 200 after Christ. Each church has beautiful art inside and impressive architecture outside. I took pleasure in being able to see all of the churches in Werne and traveling to other cities to see them.
