I am a 5th year doctoral candidate in Marketing (focusing on Marketing Strategy) at Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. I am on the job market this year (2024-2025).
My research focuses on understanding manager and firm behaviors and their subsequent consequence on marketing activities, functions, and performance. My research interest includes Upper Echelons, Innovation, DEI, Marketing-Finance Interface, Healthcare, Marketing Metrics, Customer Expectations. My primary research approach is empirical analysis with econometrics and causal inference.
Originally from Shanghai, China, I received my B.A. in Supply Chain Management and M.S. in Marketing Research at Michigan State University (Go green, Go white!). Currently, I'm pursuing my PhD in Marketing at Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!).
Before I started my PhD program, I worked for about a year at Kantar Health, where I developed a strong interest in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. I am developing research projects in this space and constantly looking for opportunities to collaborate with organizations in healthcare.
Outside of research, I love painting, crafts, tennis, hiking, ice skating, and photography.
