To organize our efforts, and so as not to waste anyone’s valuable time, we ask that you use a spreadsheet we created through Google Sheets. Here’s how it works:

1. Go to www.google.com/sheets or download the Google Sheets app

2. Log-in using the g-mail account wenonahauction2018@gmail.com, password “yogapants”

3. Add entries for any businesses that you have solicited for donations, and what the outcome is, so that we can all be on the same page and not bother going to places that have already been done. Keep entries in alphabetical order and the document will automatically save once you add to it.

4. We may also add some suggestions for businesses to solicit, so if you need some ideas and you see an entry with no name attached to it, feel free to reach out to that place for us and add your name to the spreadsheet for it, so we all know it’s been done.

Attached to this email are the letter and tax exempt form that you can present to merchants so they know your request is legitimate. By “donation” we mean an item, gift certificate, etc. Your two donations do not need to be related to one another and you do not need to fancy it up in a basket, but by all means, if you would like to, that would be fabulous! ALL DONATIONS ARE DUE TO THE MAIN OFFICE OR JESSICA FREUND’S HOUSE (52 MORRIS AVE, LAKE GROVE) BY APRIL 23rd.

2. In addition, each class must make a basket. You should ask parents for a donation of $5 from each child in the class and use that money toward a themed basket. Communicate with your teacher to find out what theme he or she would like the basket to be, and ask them to write it on the Sign-Up Sheet in the Main Office, so that we will not have duplicative baskets. ALL BASKETS ARE DUE TO THE MAIN OFFICE OR JESSICA FREUND’S HOUSE (52 MORRIS AVENUE, LAKE GROVE) BY APRIL 23rd.

3. Each class must send in one case of drinks and one dessert (something hand-held like cookies, chips, etc.).
