Our client, Kif Scheuer, is the Program Director for Sailing Education Adventures (SEA), a nonprofit dedicated to promoting sailing as a transformative experience that fosters character, skills, and community. SEA provides accessible sailing programs for youth, adults, families, and local organizations in Marin County.
Sailing Education Adventures and Kif Scheuer tasked our team with strengthening SEA’s capacity to grow long-term support and expand its impact in the community. Over the semester, we successfully completed the following deliverables to meet SEA’s objectives:
Compiled a list of potential business sponsors, prioritizing those with marine, environmental, or recreational ties.
Created an outreach script and email template for sponsorship efforts.
Designed and conducted interviews with past participants, parents, and community partners.
Wrote impact stories highlighting SEA’s influence on youth, adults, families, and community partnerships.
These deliverables provided SEA with critical tools to rebuild its capacity, strengthen its community presence, and secure additional funding. The curated sponsor list and outreach materials will allow SEA to approach potential partners confidently.
