My name is Anna Armstrong. I graduated from East Carolina University in May 2023 with a Bachelor's in Music Education and a minor in English. I grew up loving music and always knew I wanted to be a teacher, so I decided to combine my two passions and become a music teacher. While at ECU, I served as the President of the American Choral Directors Association, participated as a Music and Apple Ambassador, and sang in the renowned ECU Chamber Singers ensemble, directed by Dr. James Franklin, among many other things.
Alongside music, some of my other interests include playing and watching sports, reading, and traveling. I am an avid reader and spend lots of my free time doing it. As for sports, I played softball for the majority of my childhood and teenage years, as well as a plethora of other sports. I also love watching college football and basketball! The Outer Banks and Charleston, SC are some of my favorite places to visit. I also love spending time with my sweet pup, Hattie.

I am available from 7:00-8:15 AM before school and from 3:30-4:30 PM most afternoons (or by appointment).
This was my last concert as an ECU Chamber Singer. Pictured are the three other singers that were also student teaching with me during that semester, who were being honored by our director.
Tailgating was always super fun with my friends and family for home ECU football games. This is a picture of me with my parents at the blackout game against UCF (we won)!
Hattie (and her brother Bodie, or Bo) were named after two of the lighthouses in the Outer Banks. They love to play together and often get into lots of shenanigans when I bring her to visit. She's the best!
