The event was hosted at the Olde Towne Medical and Dental Center in Williamsburg, VA on Saturday, February 28th, 2026 from 12-2 pm.

We distributed samples of artificial tears, AREDS2 vitamins and safety glasses.
Thank you to our volunteers! Our volunteers were high school students including Shreya Pradhan, Aanchal Patel, Anushka Koirala and Dr. Monika Devanaboyina (current Ophthalmology resident at VCU).

17/20 rated our screening as 5/5 helpful! (One person rated 4/5 and two people didn't provide a rating)
19/20 had full color vision in each eye.
20/20 had full confrontational VF in each eye
19/20 had normal Amsler grid checks in each eye
4/20 had a personal history of eye disease and 5/20 had a family history of eye disease.
Nine safety glasses dispensed with questionairre raising awareness about eye safety!
8 out of 9 did not own safety glasses prior to receiving a FREE one from us.
9 out of 9 felt more aware of risk of eye injury with work or home related activities.
9 out of 9 committed to using safety glasses when doing high-risk activities for injury.
