Early childhood development by the Early Childhood Development Agency
KidSTART is a community playgroup session led by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) to help in child development and parent-child bonding for children aged 1-3 years old. Where necessary, these sessions can be conducted at home for additional support when the child enters preschool.
Cultivating the love of reading with the National Library Board
KidsREAD is a reading initiative supported by NLB for children aged 4-8 years old to cultivate a love of reading from young. Children here will discover the joys of interactive storytelling with hands-on activities from plays to library trips and other learning journeys.
Nurturing a love for reading and learning with EtonHouse Community Fund
EtonHouse Community Fund (ECF) and WeLL Centre collaborate in this 40-week English enrichment class for 3-4-year old preschoolers to appreciate the English language through rhymes, music, stories and creative expression. Children will be gifted a storybook each week, while parents will be given tips to extend their children's learning.

Practical life skills lessons beyond the classroom by LifeLearners SG
LifeLearners is led by volunteers from corporate and educational backgrounds who believe in inculcating lifelong learning early in children, and building their confidence with values-based life skills that they can use in whatever they do, wherever they go. These lessons aim to have lasting positive impact and include how to handle emotions, conflict, anti-bullying, diversity, nature and sustainability, money, personal responsibility etc. We engage students through games, experiments, sports and other hands-on activities such as cooking, art and craft and software.
Youth mentorship by Budding Minds
Budding Minds is a 1-to-1 coaching programme that motivates students to do better in primary and secondary school. Led by youth volunteers and Henderson-Dawson residents, this programme also academic and non-academic areas to reinforce positive character and values.
1-to-1 tuition programme by Heartware
Heartware Tuition Programme offers weekly 1-to-1 sessions to help primary school students achieve their academic goals. This initiative aims to provide quality guidance and a conducive learning environment for children to share their feelings, cultivate positive values and pick up useful life skills.
Pass in Primary Six programme by South Central Community Family Service Centre (SCCFSC)
Pass in Primary Six (PIPS) works to help Primary 5-6 students achieve better streaming outcomes as they transition into Secondary School. Run by KidsExcel, the weekly English and Mathematics lessons here are supplemented with an active sports component to nurture confidence, resilience and empathy.
Collaborative tuition programme by Yayasan Mendaki
Mendaki Collaborative Tuition Programme (CTP) provides quality and affordable tuition to primary and secondary school students. Open to all races and religions, this programme is a collaboration between Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and jointly offered by the Chinese Development Assistance Council, The Eurasian Association, Singapore Indian Development Association and Yayasan Mendaki.
