Has a wealth of varied experience as a youth and community worker for over 25 years. As well as leading part time youth projects, for the last 13 years she has worked as an art teacher at a trauma aware pupil referral unit. Her work has focused on arts-based opportunities with disadvantaged groups. Has taught yoga for over 10 years. She is a member of the Yoga in HealthCare Alliance (YIHA) and is trained to deliver the Yoga4Health Social Prescribing Protocol within the NHS. She has had a career spanning over 20 years as a healthcare researcher and healthcare practitioner. This has enabled a solid grounding and understanding of health and well-being within the context of the mind-body relationship. Caroline has delivered yoga for a wide range of different abilities including chair and mat yoga for the over 60s and cancer survivors at a Macmillan Centre.
Has taught yoga for over 13 years and has recently completed a 2 year Yoga Therapy Professional Diploma with the Minded Institute. She is passionate about bringing the mental and physical health benefits of yoga to communities and individuals who wouldn’t ordinarily be able to access them. Prior to her time as a yoga teacher Nuala worked teaching english to asylum seekers and refugees. She also has experience of working in homelessness hostels and with young people.
