I don't take the environmental impact of my actions as a landlord for granted. As a father of 2 young boys I don't want them to suffer as a consequence of my actions and those of others. What am I doing?

• Raising standards on all my properties to increase their EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) ratings to C and above

• Replaced all conventional energy-saving lighting with LED lighting

• Replacing old appliances with modern energy-efficient ones

• Replacing older boilers with brand new energy-efficient models most recently in 2024 at Ashby Crescent

• Ensuring adequate insulation to my properties £3000 was spent over October / November 2022 to boost loft insulation

• Installing smart meters to all properties

• In the process of swapping out all energy providers to 100% renewable with carbon credits (only 1 house to go)

• Offering advice and support to my tenants as well as listening to their concerns and suggestions regarding environmental impact
