VOCES Library Information

The VOCES Vanguards Library is open before school, after school, during nutrition break, and during lunch.  To use the library during instructional time you must have a pass from your teacher.

Please do not bring food, drinks, candy or gum into the library.

Don't forget to sign in at the front desk.

Use a shelf marker when searching for books.

Your student ID is your library card.

Overdue book fines - 10¢ per day. Maximum fine is $5.00

Lost and damaged books - Students are charged for the cost to replace the lost book.  

The VOCES library is more than a place to read and study.  It is also a welcoming safe space and a creativity lab.  Vanguards come to the library to satisfy curiosity, borrow good books, do research, receive tutoring, create art, collaborate on school and community projects, make friends, or just enjoy peace and quiet. The library also has a computer lab and resources for printing & copying schoolwork.

In addition to their more studious pursuits, students may come to the library to play the piano, play ping-pong, and board games and to eat on the library literacy garden patio.
