Short bio
Inmaculada Cebrián is a Professor of Economics at the Universidad de Alcalá and a member of the WEIPO Research Group, the Spanish Association of Labour Economics, and the advisory committee of the Reina Sofía Center of FAD-Youth. She began her research career in 1986 and has developed an extensive trajectory in labor economics, including international research stays at universities such as Warwick, Manchester, Milan, Salta, and Bergamo. She has served on the Advisory Commission on the Minimum Wage and currently represents the Ministry of Inclusion in the evaluation of the 2021 labor market reform. Her research focuses on the functioning of the labor market, with particular attention to unemployment, job insecurity, temporary employment, part-time work, collective bargaining, the minimum wage, immigration, and gender inequalities, as well as their impact on poverty and social exclusion.
