Gloria Moreno

SENIOR LECTURER

Short bio

Gloria Moreno holds a PhD in Economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid, where she received the Outstanding Doctoral Prize. She is a Professor of Fundamentals of Economic Analysis in the Department of Economics at the University of Alcalá, where she has held several academic management positions, including Director and Deputy Director of the Department, Coordinator of the PhD Programme in Economics, Director of the Master’s Degree in Applied Economic Analysis, and Vice-Dean of Teaching and Academic Planning. She has also served as President of the Spanish Association of Labour Economics (AEET). Her research focuses on labour market analysis, with particular attention to the role of households and gender differences. She has participated in numerous projects and studies for various areas of the Spanish public administration.
