Short bio
Diego Dueñas holds a PhD in Economics from the Universidad de Alcalá, where he was awarded the Outstanding Doctoral Prize. He is a Lecturer in Fundamentals of Economic Analysis in the Department of Economics at the Universidad de Alcalá, where he also holds academic management positions as Coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Deputy Director of the Department. His research focuses on labour market analysis, with particular attention to gender differences, occupational segregation, and wage discrimination. He has participated in numerous research projects and studies on these topics and has published extensively in internationally high-impact journals and books.
