Wei-Heng Huang is an associate professor in the Department of Statistics at National Taipei University. His research interests include Statistical Process Control, Univariate and Multivariate Control Charts, and Reliability Analysis. His primary research focuses on developing multivariate control charts for monitoring and diagnostics of correlated quality variables of different types.

Wei-Heng Huang received his Ph.D. in the Institute of Statistics at National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2016. He visited Dr. Arthur B. Yeh at Bowling Green State University as a research scholar from Sep. 2014 to Dec. 2015. After graduation, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences at the National Health Research Institutes under the supervision of Dr. Yue-Liang Guo 2016. Next, he was a postdoctoral scholar at the Solar Durability and Lifetime Extension (SDLE) Center in the Department of Material Science and Engineering at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, under the supervision of Dr. Roger H. French from Mar. 2017 to Feb. 2019. Wei-Heng Huang was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Statistics at Purdue University, Lafayette, Indiana, under the supervision of Dr. Farming Liang from Mar. 2019 to Jul. 2019

He has been working at National Taipei University since Aug. 2024. Before that, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics at Feng Chia University from Aug. 2019 to Jul. 2022. He was an associate professor in the Department of Statistics at Feng Chia University from Aug. 2022 to Jul. 2024.
