Greetings FBLA! I'm Margaret Brown, and I am a senior. My passion for business and FBLA began when I enrolled in Intro to Business my freshman year. I loved the content and lessons I learned from Mrs. Fanara-Mauro, as well as the fun activities our class shared. Becoming a part of FBLA was the best decision of my high school career; not only has it allowed me to meet new people, but it has provided me with some of my favorite memories. Attending SLC with my friends and placing for Nationals is an experience I'll never forget! The reason I became co-Vice President and co-Fundraising Chair was so I could give these experiences to others as well as share the joy of FBLA. I look forward to having a great year with you all!

Hi everyone! My name is Hannah Wei, and I am a senior this year. I am so excited to serve as the Co-Vice President for the Williamsville East chapter. One of my goals for FBLA is to increase involvement, whether it be holding events virtually or in person. One fun fact about me is I have been a competitive figure skater for 13 years! Secretary/Historian/Reporter: Leah Huang

Hi! I’m Leah Huang, and I’m your FBLA secretary and historian/reporter for the 2021-2022 season! I joined FBLA as a freshman and competed in SLC that year. Even though SLC was canceled sophomore year, I still participated in the Executive Committee POW, continuing on to become Program of Work Chairperson during the 2020-2021 season. I placed in SLC that year, continuing on to compete at NLC. Outside of FBLA, I’m also part of Unity in Diversity, Science Olympiad, and many other clubs! Hello, FBLA! My name is Shriya Gandham, and I’m the Chapter Treasurer for the 2021-2022 year. I’m currently a junior at Williamsville East and have been part of FBLA since freshman year. I love dancing and I’m fluent in three languages. My goal for this year is to collect enough money through various fundraisers and events to help our members attend SLC and NLC with the least amount of financial worries as possible.

Hi, FBLA! I’m Grace Hwang, a senior, and I will be your 2021-2022 Chapter Parliamentarian/Competitive Events Manager. I have been an active member of FBLA for 3 years now and am excited for this year as well! I’ve attended the 2021 SLC, where I placed 1st in Journalism and 2nd in E-business, and the 2021 NLC, where our team placed 10th nationally. Outside of FBLA, I am involved in the wind ensemble, East Side News, and French Club. One of my goals this year is to get students enthusiastic about signing up for events and participating in conferences. I hope to help in any way I can!

Hi! I’m Leah Huang, a junior, and I’m the Chapter Program of Work Chairperson for 2020-2021! I joined FBLA as a freshman, attending SLC that year. Even though SLC was canceled sophomore year, I still participated in the Executive Committee POW. At East, I’m also a member of Science Olympiad, Girl Up, and many more that haven’t been able to run due to COVID-19. In my free time, I enjoy baking, dancing, and listening to every genre of music. I hope to make this year the best yet!

State Vice President: District 12: Ryan Chou

Hi District 12, my name is Ryan Chou, and I'll be your 2021-2022 State Vice President. After the dumpster fire caused by COVID, I'm happy to still be involved in FBLA and can't wait to see what we can put out this year.

Joining FBLA in 2018 at Williamsville East was a new experience for me. I was an awkward freshman, and I didn't come off as someone who could lead or organize anything. A few years later, I'm a rising senior and I can say that FBLA has helped me build up these skills by exposing me to working with and meeting new people on projects, meetings, and activities.
