We conducted a Google survey for the Transit Middle School and Williamsville East High School students.

35% of Williamsville East High Schoolers had heard of the American Enterprise System beforehand; however, 62.4% had not. The other 2.9% had heard it mentioned once or twice before, but weren't clear on the concepts of the AEP.

The most popular responses were Business with 85 responses, Money with 38 responses, and Economy with 28 responses.
The most frequent key phrases in student-created definitions of "American Enterprise System" were "economic freedom", "free business/trade", and "personal /consumer rights". A large portion of answers also contained variations of "I don't know", vague phrases such as "business", and restating of the phrase "American Enterprise System".
