At WE HIKE, we embark on a journey that transcends the ordinary, inspired by a vision to bring our community outdoors and enrich lives through the transformative power of hiking. Our commitment extends beyond the trails as we seek to integrate safety, education, culture, arts, health, and wellness and safety into the fabric of our shared experiences.

Walk with WE HIKE in the Veterans Day Parade

We are walking in the Northeast El Paso Veterans Day Parade

Wednesday, November 11th, and we want you to join us as we honor our veterans. Everyone is welcome to walk with our group. Our entry is fully accessible, so strollers and wheelchairs are absolutely welcome. It is completely free to join us, but please register on our website so we can coordinate our group size and send you the meetup and lineup details for that morning. Bring your family and let's show our support together.

Please come prepared. There may be little to no shade on the walk, so sun and hydration protection are important.

FRIDAY THE 13TH: SPOOKY HIKE & GHOST STORIES!

Join us for a spooky evening at the base of the Franklin mountains for Real ghost stories about the walkers of the mountains, some music, and glow in the dark frisbee, weather permitting. Bring a flashlight, drinks, a chair or towel to sit on and a story of your own. Costume contest wear your scary stuff tonight

Join WE HIKE on Friday, November 13, from 6–9 PM at Chuck Heinrich Memorial Park for a spooky evening at the base of the Franklin Mountains!

Hear real ghost stories about the walkers of the mountains, enjoy music and karaoke, share stories of your own, and have some glow-in-the-dark fun with frisbees, weather permitting. Costumes are encouraged, so wear your scariest look and join our costume contest!

Bring: A flashlight, drinks, a chair or towel to sit on, and a spooky story to share.
