Special Tournaments
From time to time we will have small tournaments during the season. This will be during the Holiday weeks, to allow for those players traveling not to miss a league match.
4 man Scramble 4/26/23: To get us started before the season, we will have a "HAT DRAW" 4 man (2 team) scramble. $10 entry fee per player will be given to Bill Knopf before the match. We will shotgun start off the front 9 and prizes will be PAID out to the top 3 teams: 60%, 30%, 10% of the pot!

Red, White and Blue 4 man best ball tournament 7/5/23: In an effort to honor our troops & country we will have a special tournament. Each player will play from different tees each hole. The teams of 4 will be totally random from the players that signed up for this event. Once the groups have been created, each group will receive a spinner. Before each tee shot, every player will spin for their tee position. After all players have hit, select the best tee shot, and play a normal scramble until the hole is completed. **EVERY PLAYER MUST HAVE 1 DRIVE/TEE SHOT USED! $10 entry fee per player will be given to Bill Knopf before the match. We will shotgun start off the front 9 (4:30) and prizes will be PAID out to the top 3 teams: 60%, 30%, 10% of the pot!

9/6/23 2-man Scramble
2-man Scramble this week: So as I stated before the majority voted to have a 2-man scramble this week. The cards are created and will be ready for you on Wednesday. There is an envelope at the desk that you will pay $10 per person, $20 per team! **ANYONE NEEDING A PARTNER REPLY ALL TO THIS EMAIL TO FIND ONE, OR BRING A FRIEND- THEY MUST HAVE A GHIN!** Make sure you pay the fee ahead of time! My team and I will be teeing off at 430 as I am back in school and have a meeting afterschool, so Wednesday I will be coming into the parking lot HOT and changing on the fly! This is our last scramble of the season and would love to see everyone there!
Rules for the scramble: Both players will tee off, go to the best ball location. From the new location both players hit and repeat this process until the ball is holed. The ball must be holed, no gimmies! Post your score on the scorecard and then move onto the next hole. At the end of the match all the scorecards will be collected and scored. In an effort to make this as fair for all as possible, each team will have their scores subtracted by 1/2 of their combined team handicap. So for example, if a team posts a 34 and has a team handicap of 24, they will have 12 strokes taken off for a score of 22! We will pay out for the top 3 teams (60%, 30%, 10% of the pot). There will also be 2 mini games (CTP #12, long drive #16). Those mini games will be paid at the end of the year.

MAYBE?? playoff week or week of the banquet
9/27/23 or 10/11/23
Wolf Tournament: Sometimes in the workforce we feel like we are alone like wolves! To embrace the wolf spirit we will play the wolf game. $10 entry fee per player will be given to Bill Knopf before the match. Wolf is a 4 man game that first establishes an order- flipping the tee, then each hole the "wolf" goes first off the tee box. The next player hits, if the wolf wants them as a partner- the two will play vs the other two in a best ball match for the hole; if the wolf passes then they can select the third player to tee off and that is their teammate in the two man best ball; however if the wolf passes on all three players- they are alone vs the other three players- BUT they get DOUBLE points! You get 1 point for each winning match (hole) and 2 points if you are the wolf and win a match (hole). On the last hole, re-toss the tee to determine the 9th hole order. Every player will keep track of their points and prizes will be given out for the ALPHA, BETA and GAMMA wolves. See the video for more details: Wolf Golf Game Explained
10/6/23 GOLF MADNESS Tournament: GOLF MADNESS Tournament: The week before the banquet we will have a Golf Madness Skins Tournament. $10 entry fee per player will be given to Bill Knopf before the match. This is a skins match with as many players that come out that night playing the same hole! Only a clear skin wins a chance at the prize money. One ties all ties! Once you are "out of the hole" you will move onto the next hole and tee off waiting for the group to catch up. We will play 9 holes and the skins will be divided up to the number of skins won! Could be a HUGE pay day! I have played in this type of round where we had 20 golfers playing on a hole! Huge putts and major drama! Super fun for all skill levels!
