2022 MSU-IIT Annual In-House Review for Extension Projects
(A Hybrid Conference)

The Annual In-House Review for Extension Projects is a formal gathering for university’s extension engagements where extension programs/ projects are presented. This event is open to all Colleges with completed and on-going extension programs/ projects conducted between the period 2019 to 2022. The previous winners during the 2017 to 2020 Annual In-House Review for Extension Programs are not qualified to participate. Extension programs/projects with external collaborator(s) will also be considered, given that the main proponent is from MSU-IIT and that the project was done at MSU-IIT.
WRITTEN PAPER SPECIFICATIONS
Papers should follow the template given patterned from the format attached in the notice.
Paper size used should be A4.
Paper should include an abstract of not more than 300 words and the total pages of an entry should not exceed 7.
Author(s) name(s) should be spelled out.
Paper presenter’s name should be asterisked.
Submitted entries shall be screened based on compliance to the specifications stated above.
Poster size is 40” (height) x 30” (width).
PAPER PRESENTATION
A. ORAL
Oral Paper Presentation shall be for 10 minutes and 5 minutes for question and answer (Q&A).
A timer shall be utilized to prompt presenters 5 minutes before time for presentation will expire.
If the presentation is finished before the allotted time, the 5-minute Q&A will automatically begin.
There will be an open forum to allow time for clarifications and questions thrown by the panel of evaluators and the audience if time permits.
For the Oral Presentation, the presentation file shall also be in PDF format.
B. POSTER
Poster presenters shall entertain questions from the panel of evaluators and other participants.
For the Poster Presentation, the poster should have a dimension of 76 cm [30 inches] (width) x 101.5 cm [40 inches] (length) and be saved in PDF file.
Tarpaulin and other non-biodegradable poster materials are not allowed. Only paper-based poster materials shall be used.
AWARDS
There will be only two (2) winners for Best Extension Projects and three (3) Best Presenters for Oral and Poster Presentations both in two categories.
Cash prizes and certificates will be given to the winners.
Non-winning participants will be given certificates.

Academic Ethics
o Articles submitted to the conference should report original and previously unpublished findings within the period 2019 to 2021. Following the ethical conduct is very critical in the academic world. Hence, any act of plagiarism cannot be tolerated. If an author is found to commit an act of plagiarism, the submission will be automatically dismissed.
