The WEBIT/WMEA Innovation Lounge allows attendees to roll up their sleeves and get messy! This area is a place to try new technologies, ask questions of the experts, get creative and think outside the box, and the best part? Take those new ideas to back to your classrooms. Stay the entire time or just drop in--you choose what works best for you!

Facilitator: John Ptacek – Principal Consultant
John is a Skyline Technologies Principal Consultant where his primary focus is the design, development and envisioning of solutions for customers. During his career he has developed solutions to solve problems for a wide variety of industries. Examples include virtually melting down nuclear reactors, developing a system for pricing over 10 billion dollars in consumer goods orders, as well as mobile applications for music festivals. My current focus is on solving problems using cloud technologies to help users from their desktop to their living room. He lives in Appleton, WI with his wife and a gaggle of children who are usually playing music, running or shining. He also still read books. Join Skyline Technologies’ John Ptacek who will provide short demonstration on building a skill for the Amazon Echo using Amazon’s skill builder toolset. Then John will give the audience an opportunity to interact with the skill.
