We are committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming group culture. We value diverse perspectives and ways of thinking, shaped by different backgrounds and experiences, as they drive creativity and help us tackle complex challenges together.
Ines Weber is an Assistant Professor at Chalmers University of Technology. She earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering at ETH Zurich, where she also completed her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering under Prof. Sotiris Pratsinis in 2022. She then joined the University Hospital Zurich as a postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Philipp Gerber to gain experience in clinical translation. Her interest in portable and wearable sensors later led her to Stanford University, where she conducted research in Prof. Zhenan Bao’s group.
Manoj Jayarame Gowda is a Doctoral student at Chalmers University of Technology, developing advanced chemical sensors for health monitoring. With two years of industrial R&D experience, he combines materials innovation with practical applications. He holds a B.Eng. in Polymer Science and Technology from India and an M.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Kiel, Germany. During his master’s studies, he worked on wearable sensors and hydrogel-based wound dressings for biomedical use.
Srikrishna Sreekanth is a Master’s student in Biomedical Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. He holds a B.Eng. in Medical Electronics Engineering from India and gained research experience as a Data Analyst Intern at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, India. He is conducting his master’s thesis on “Non-Invasive Serotonin Detection with Nanostructured Sensors for Mental Health Monitoring”.
