The full version is here
Emergency reporting
Does it feel like the situation could get heated or violent very soon? Is someone in immediate danger? Do you need support right away?
Call 999
Don’t forget to ask for a call reference number (CAD) at the end of the call.
Non-emergency reporting
Phone
Call 101
Calls can be made anonymously, you don’t have to give your name.
The call answer time should be 5-10 minutes .
Don’t forget to ask for a call reference number (CAD) at the end of the call.
Online web form
Contact us ‘about something else’.
This form is much quicker to use than the official ASB and crime reporting forms. On submission you will receive a confirmation email with a reporting reference number.
X/Twitter
@MetCC - https://x.com/MetCC
If you direct-message @MetCC you should get a CAD call reference as a reporting receipt
Reference numbers (‘CAD” numbers)
Remember to ask for and record a reference number for all reports. Then share the reference number, with a summary of your report, with Weavers Community Action Group so we can keep a community record.
Why report?
None of these methods will result in an immediate response, but every report that is made will bring more police focus to the problem in future.
If there are no reports logged on their systems, the police will assume there is no problem so please report every incident. Multiple reports of the same issue from different people often carry more weight, so please take personal responsibility for reporting.
For non-emergencies, you don’t have to report straight away - you can do it the next day, or any time that is convenient.
