For easier disabling of Bluetooth, enable the setting Settings Downloads > Open Bluetooth Settings in the watch app. This will automatically open the Bluetooth settings when you download a podcast then open them again when all downloads complete.
Long-press on a play button in the phone app to start playback on the watch. Same with starting an episode on the phone from the watch.
If you feel your watch vibrate after initiating a transfer, then the file will eventually transfer. If you have a large file, you can start the transfer at night and it will most likely complete by the next day.
Long-press on a podcast to access settings for each podcast
You can customize the ambient display in the watch app (Settings > Display > Ambient Display). The custom ambient display requires that the "Always-on Screen" setting is enabled for your watch.
You can enable a progress bar on the playing screen under Settings > Display > Progress Bar.
If you are in the middle of a podcast and haven't listened in awhile, there is a setting called "Reminder Time" (Settings > Playback > Reminder Time) where you can skip back to remind yourself where you left off
If you frequently set a sleep timer, you can set a time period when the sleep timer will automatically start (Settings > Playback > Auto Sleep Timer). If the sleep timer stops during the time period and playback is resumed a new sleep timer will start.
You can have custom volume levels for each podcast (Settings > Playback > Volume Level). Whenever you change the volume every episode of that podcast will play at that level. Also works for custom files and single episodes sent with the phone app.
