West Deptford Safety Town is a non-profit organization that teaches children entering kindergarten the hazards associated with fire, poison, strangers, playgrounds, animals, traffic, etc.
Teen volunteers are a crucial part of our program. As a volunteer you would help to provide students with a one-on-one learning experience. Volunteering for Safety Town is also a great way to get some volunteer hours for those who may need them.
Classes take place at Red Bank Elementary School. The program is split up into four sessions as follows:
Session 1A: June 29th - July 10th: 8:30 am - 11:00 am (July 3rd off in observation of Independence Day)
Session 1B: June 29th - July 10th: 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm (July 3rd off in observation of Independence Day)
Session 2A: July 13th - July 23rd: 8:30 am - 11:00 am
Session 2B: July 13th - July 23rd: 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm
No classes Saturdays or Sundays!
