Research ethics
wcu resources
Training in research ethics within the WCU College of Osteopathic Medicine will have several components. The primary component will be online training using the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) program (www.citiprogram.org). WCU subscribes to this program with an institutional site license so that all personnel affiliated with WCU, including students at all levels, have unlimited access. COM students can access the WCU-specific CITI registration instructions here or the general CITI startup instructions here. OMS1 students will be assigned specific CITI courses as part of the Behavioral Science and Public Health course.
For students proposing to perform research with human subjects, the WCU Institutional Review Board (IRB) has a separate site here.
