Sunday, April 23 – Most delegates arrive at PDX late afternoon and will proceed to host families/homes

Camas Day

Monday, April 24

8:30 a.m.         Camas City Hall Coffee and Presentation

10:00 a.m.       Driving Tour of the City (board CTRAN bus from City Hall)

12:00 p.m.      Lunch and Discussion at Camas Library

2:00 p.m.         Camas City Hall Chambers for a presentation by Lloyd Halverson

3:00 p.m.         Visit Downtown Camas (walk from City Hall)

4:00 p.m.         Back to host family/homes for dinner and rest

6:30 p.m.         Lacamas Lodge for Welcome/Introduction to the Community Event

Split Day

Tuesday, April 25

*9 Delegates to Camas Ridge Housing and then on to Portland for PNRC Housing Conference

9:00 a.m.         Housing and Community Development - Camas Ridge

11 a.m. to

2:30 p.m.         PNRC Housing Conference and Featured Guest Mayor Buras’ Presentation

3:00 p.m.         Join other delegates at Camas Schools Event

                         8:30 a.m. to

                         4:00 p.m.         Camas Schools Tour and Events at Zellerbach Center

Washougal Day

Wednesday, April 26

8:30 a.m. to

4:30 p.m.         Events and tour in the City of Washougal, guided by Washougal team

                         Time TBD         Evening reception at the home of Allison and Scott Higgins, Camas

Olympia and Seattle

Thursday, April 27

{Depart from Zellerbach Center 841 NE 22nd Ave. 8:15 a.m. sharp!}     

8:15 a.m.         Depart to Olympia from Camas Schools offices Zellerbach Center

11:00 a.m.      Capitol, Senate Chamber, meet with Senator Ann Rivers, official photos

12:00 p.m.      Lunch and discussion with officials of the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) and Municipal Research and Service Center (MRSC).  Session at AWC office, Franklin Street, Olympia.

Mid-afternoon Thursday

to Sunday a.m.  Departure for Seattle - Transport provided by our Seattle partners, including Washington City Management Association (Kristi Roland, President) and Polish Consul General  (Teresa Davis)

Return to Camas Area

Sunday, April 30 mid-day 

1:00ish p.m.   Return to Camas area and second set of homestay hosts.  Arrival details to follow.

5:00 p.m.         Clark County Mayors Dinner - Discussions with the Mayors of the Clark region, hosted by Camas Mayor Steve Hogan. Lacamas Lodge

Vancouver Day

Monday, May 1            

 9:30 a.m. to

3:00 p.m.         Tour, lunch, and observations of another ‘model city’ organized by City Manager Eric Holmes.

(Time TBD)      Evening:  informal reception at the home of David and Julie Scott, Washougal

Columbia River Gorge Scenic Tour

{Meet at Washougal City Hall, 1701 C St. Washougal}

Tuesday, May 2

9:00 a.m.         Walking, Scenery, and Views of a “National Treasure” guided and organized by Commission Executive Director Krystyna Woiniakowski   meet at Washougal City Hall

3:30 p.m.         Return to Washougal City Hall for host pick-up

6:00 p.m.         Farewell dinner at Orchard Hills Golf and Country Club {605 39th St. Washougal} Delegates, Hosts, and Sponsored by the Sister City Organization, and WCMA.
