Esteemed Delegates & Sponsors,

On behalf of the Winston Churchill High School Model United Nations Club, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the inaugural iteration of our high school conference, WINMUNC II. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, WINMUNC II will be held in-person with one online committee on April 1 and 2, 2022.

In the face of all the challenges this past year has brought, the WINMUNC II secretariat and staff have been working to ensure that our conference will be an enjoyable, educational, and engaging experience. This year, WINMUNC II is honored to host eight unique and enriching committees, ranging from the ECOFIN to the African Union to the 2nd Ivorian Civil War, 2010. Whether you prefer the traditional structure of a GA or a fast-paced crisis simulation, there is a committee for every delegate at WINMUNC II.

Delegates will have opportunities to find innovative solutions to the most pressing issues of our time, enhance their public speaking and leadership skills, and build connections with others who are just as passionate about international relations and diplomacy as they are.

Model United Nations has changed the course of my high school experience. It has given me skills and connections I know I will use throughout my life. I hope that WINMUNC II is one of many meaningful steps in your Model United Nations journey.
