Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each participant, providing them with the tools, resources, and support necessary to rebuild their lives.
1. Resource Center
Our centralized resource hub provides assistance with:
• Housing support and placement
• Food stamps and medical card applications
• IDs, Social Security cards, and other vital documents
• Referrals to community organizations and services
2. Ticket/Token Program
Participants who complete our 21-step program gain access to our Ticket/Token Program, which allows them to:
• Shop at our fully stocked grocery-style food pantry for essential items and fresh food.
• Visit our department store-style clothing closet to find personal care items, professional attire, and more.
3. Trade and Education Programs
We offer hands-on opportunities to gain new skills, further education, and build careers through:
• Trade training programs, including construction and craftsmanship
• Entrepreneurial training and business coaching
• GED prep and special education services
• Life skills and financial literacy workshops
4. Housing Hub and Micro-Housing Program
Our innovative Housing Hub Program provides individuals with:
• Opportunities to build micro-housing units as part of their trade training.
• A chance to either keep the unit they’ve built or donate it to someone in need.
• Temporary on-site housing to help participants stabilize and reenter society.
5. Community Mailbox Service
For individuals without stable housing, we provide a community mailbox system to:
• Establish a permanent address.
• Receive important mail, including government documents, employment correspondence, and personal items.
6. Mental and Emotional Health Support
We offer a variety of mental health resources, including:
• Individual and group counseling sessions.
• Workshops on managing emotions, coping strategies, and self-care.
• Support groups for individuals recovering from addiction, abuse, and trauma.
7. Communal Garden Program
Our communal garden brings participants together to:
• Learn about sustainable gardening.
• Grow fresh produce for the pantry and community use.
• Build a sense of teamwork and responsibility.
8. Transitional Support Warehouse
Participants who complete our program can access the Transitional Support Warehouse, which provides:
• Essential household items to furnish their new homes.
• Starter kits, including furniture, bedding, cookware, and cleaning supplies.
9. LIHEAP Bill Assistance Service
To further support our participants, we assist with Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) applications to help cover utility costs.
10. Mentorship and Coaching
We pair participants with mentors and life coaches who provide:
• Guidance on personal and professional growth.
• Support in setting and achieving goals.
• Encouragement to help participants thrive in their new journey.
