CURRICULUM AND EXAMINATION
Wazir Janki Nath Memorial started as a foundation School has graduated to become a Higher Secondary School. The Foundation School is a well equipped section where teaching-learning process is based on the latest play way techniques and the language is strengthened through audio visual aids. The School is recognized by the J&K Board of School Education with English as the medium of instruction. The academic year begins in April and ends in March and is divided into two terms. At the end of each term students are examined in the matter studied and report card are issued marking the achievement and efficiency of each child.
To pass an examination, a student should obtain 40% in each subject and 75% to get a distinction. The merit of distinction will be lost, if a student fails in any subject.
No Student is at any time, exempted from an examination.
Besides academics, physical education is an essential component of daily school activity along with classes on art and craft, music and dance and computer awareness. Besides, library classes for the development of reading skills of the student are also held regularly by the school. These activities are compulsory for all children up till class 10. However, in case any child is not able to participate in any of the aforementioned activity on medical grounds, his/her parents/guardian should inform the school in writing.
