It’s a fast, fun, affordable way to commute. While carpooling isn’t new, Waze Carpool is a fresh way to share the road and the cost of commuting. A cost-effective alternative to rideshare services, Carpool lets you choose to drive or ride with people already going your way. Use the Waze app to drive, and the Waze Carpool app to catch a ride.
Waze Carpool Ambassadors’ Program
We can encourage more friends, colleagues and family members to join Waze Carpool. And here’s where YOU can make a difference!
Carpoolers with at least 20 completed rides who help growing the Capool Movement will be invited to join our Ambassadors’ Community, based on the following criteria:
🥉5 successful referrals: you’ll be invited to become a Promoter.
🥈11 successful referrals: Leader.
🥇15 successful referrals: Ambassador.
Promoters, Leaders and Ambassadors will enjoy a special status in the Community. They will get direct access to Waze’s Staff and frequently receive special information about Waze Carpool’s plans and developments, among other surprises. 😉
FAQ
- What are successful referrals? These are new carpoolers who joined the movement through your personal link and completed their first ride.
- What are completed rides? These are completed carpools that a carpooler made either as a driver or a rider.
- What’s the difference between Ambassadors and Masters? While Ambassadors will be automatically invited upon hitting achievements, Masters will be handpicked by Waze’s Staff to become part of the Community leadership. Masters are carpoolers who are highly committed to Waze Carpool’s mission of eliminating traffic altogether, and their feedback represents a central part of our movement’s development. Both Ambassadors and non-Ambassadors will be eligible to become Masters.
