Catholics believe in one God who loves us and created everything. Our faith is centered on Jesus Christ, who saves us and shows us how to live. Catholics follow the Bible, the teachings of the Church, and live by God’s commandments.
God is the Creator of heaven and earth. He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — the Holy Trinity.
Jesus is God’s Son. He became human, was born of the Virgin Mary, died for our sins, and rose again to give us eternal life.
The Holy Spirit lives in us, helps us pray, guides us, and gives us strength to do what is right.
Jesus started the Church to teach the truth, forgive sins, and celebrate the sacraments. The Pope and bishops lead the Church today.
The Bible is God’s Word. It teaches us how to love, live, and follow God’s plan.
God gives us grace through the seven sacraments, which help us grow in faith and holiness.
Heaven is eternal happiness with God.
Hell is eternal separation from God for those who reject Him.
Purgatory is a temporary place of cleansing for souls who are saved but need to be purified before entering heaven.
Prayer connects us to God. We can talk to Him anytime — to praise, ask, thank, or say sorry.
Jesus taught us to love God and our neighbors. We care for the poor, forgive others, and try to live like Jesus.
Mary is the Mother of Jesus and our spiritual mother. The saints are holy people in heaven who pray for us and inspire us to follow God.
