Performances are similar to combinations on the Kronos. They are pretty straight forward. The biggest "problem" are the effects. This is quite different on the Kronos, as is the routing. So a few words about that here.
Routing
In the WAVESTATION you have several routing options for each patch. You can select between:
PATCH: the settings of the PATCH on the PAN page are followed. Very often only the first oscillator is routed here towards the output. On the Kronos you will have to set oscillator setting to OSC1.
ALL: everything from the PATCH is routed to all inputs of the effects routing.
BUS-D: all is routed to the D bus on the effects settings page. Depending on the Mix 4 settings, the sound partial to Effect 2 and partial unmodified to the output, all panned to the right. On the Kronos make a setting to L/R where the sound is only send to MFX 2 and set the panning to the right.
C+D: all is routed to the C+D bus on the effects settings page. Depending on the Mix 3 and Mix 4 settings, the sound partial to Effect 2 and partial unmodified to the output. On the Kronos make a setting to L/R where the sound is only send to MFX 2.
BUS-C: all is routed to the C bus on the effects settings page. Depending on the Mix 3 settings, the sound is sent partially to Effect 2 and partially unmodified to the output, all panned to the left. On the Kronos make a setting to L/R where the sound is only send to MFX 2 and set the panning to the left.
A:.../B:... The patch output is send to bus A and B, which means that is going through effect 1 and 2 depending on the setting Serial or parallel. The amounts for A and B determine the panning. A is right and B is left. On the Kronos sent L/R to Effect 1 and 2 and set the panning accordingly.
Effects
For most patches the QUADRATURE Chorus and the SMALL HALL are used. On the Kronos I used the Stereo Chorus and the Smooth hall instead. An advantage is that these have also an EQ as all the WAVESTATION effects have. Otherwise you can use a separate EQ, off course.
