About the Teacher

Mrs. Watterson

Hi! My name is Sasha Watterson and I am married with a beautiful five year old. We have four cats and a beagle. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2014. This is my tenth year teaching and I have taught multiple subjects and age groups over the years. My first year I taught high school Spanish I and II (my Spanish is not very good anymore). After that, I taught ESOL for grades 6-8 while simultaneously teaching ELA and Social Studies inclusion classes for four years. Finally, I taught second grade before I had the wonderful opportunity to come to BCS and teach social studies. History is my passion and I am so excited to share my love of the ancient world with each of you!
