I provide in-person and virtual K-12 homeschool evaluations to families in the state of Pennsylvania. I conduct in-person evaluations at locations in Lancaster County and Chester County. Virtual evaluations are available statewide. I work with high schoolers pursuing a Supervisor Issued Diploma.
Evaluations last between 15-20 minutes per child for grades K-8, and up to 40 minutes for high school. During that time, I will look over the log and review the samples and materials in the portfolio. I will ask your student a few questions about their school year. These questions are low key and meant to give the student a chance to share fun things they remember, or show off any work they are particularly proud of. For high school students, we may spend some time talking about credits, course planning, and graduation requirements. You and your student shouldn’t feel any pressure! Think of the evaluation as a celebration of your school year. Once the evaluation is completed, I will provide you with a signed evaluation letter. For seniors, I will also sign the diploma (and transcript if needed).
I earned my degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading Education from West Chester University. I have experience working as a private reading and math tutor. I'm a homeschool graduate myself and teach my 3 children at home (elementary, middle, and high school).
I am certified to teach in Pennsylvania public schools and have more than 2 years experience grading student work at both the elementary and secondary levels. According to PA homeschool law, this qualifies me to provide homeschool evaluations for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
