Inhyeong is an Assistant Professor in the School of Health and Environmental Science at Korea University. Inhyeong received his Ph.D. in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from Yale University, working with Prof. Jaehong Kim. At Yale, Inhyeong's research focused on reducing the chemical reliance of water treatment technologies through the use of renewable energy and stimuli-responsive materials. Following his doctoral studies, Inhyeong worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University under Prof. Meagan Mauter, where he developed a design and optimization platform for safe and cost-effective potable water reuse systems.
Broadly, his research aims to enhance water security by diversifying water supply portfolios. At Korea University, Inhyeong's group focuses on developing and optimizing fit-for-purpose water treatment technologies to support sustainable water supply.
