I’m currently the Team Lead at the Dig Connectivity Research Laboratory (DCRLab) in Kampala, Uganda and a Professorial Fellow of IEEE, the Internet of Things Community, Sustainable ICT Community, ACM, and the IAENG Society of Artificial Intelligence.

We are in a race against time. Climate change and biodiversity loss threaten all life on Earth, yet we have unprecedented computational and observational capabilities. My research focal point is driven by the conviction that computer science can—and must—be a force for planetary good.

I cherish interdisciplinary research, building systems that scale, training the next generation of learners, and creating open tools.
