Wiley- Leadership 4.0: Navigating Tech-Driven Management in the Era of Digital Disruption
SCOPE: advances an interdisciplinary inquiry into how leadership is being reshaped by Industry 4.0 technologies and the broader dynamics of digital disruption, particularly within emerging economies. The book situates leadership at the nexus of technological transformation, organizational resilience, and inclusive governance, offering critical insights into how artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, automation, and immersive platforms are redefining decision-making, accountability, and strategic foresight. Its scope encompasses the ethical and algorithmic dimensions of leadership, the reconfiguration of work and labor under automation, and the cultivation of digital trust and resilience through cybersecurity leadership. It emphasizes leadership in fragile, fragmented, and resource-constrained environments, foregrounding empirical case studies and frameworks that highlight adaptive innovation in sectors such as manufacturing, services, education, MSMEs, and urban ecosystems. By addressing challenges such as data scarcity, institutional weaknesses, and cultural diversity, the book offers comparative perspectives on leadership practices that leverage digital ethics, decentralized governance, and smart city innovation to promote sustainability, inclusivity, and competitiveness. Going beyond theory, the volume integrates practical models and actionable strategies to support leaders in navigating uncertainty, fostering collaboration, and driving systemic transformation across public and private sectors.
