My research focuses on the intersection of sport, management, education, youth development, and society. I am particularly interested in understanding how effective management, governance, organizational practices, and evidence-based interventions can contribute to improved sport development and service delivery.
My research interests have developed from my academic background in Sport Science, Physical Education, and Sport Management and Policy Development, as well as my professional experience in teaching, research, coaching, youth sport development, and sport program coordination.
My long-term research goal is to contribute to evidence-based sport and education development in Ethiopia and beyond. I am particularly interested in research that connects sport management, governance, youth development, education, and technology and translates research findings into practical improvements.
My research interests are interdisciplinary and draw on both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Depending on the research problem, I use methods such as surveys, interviews, focus group discussions, observation, document analysis, and statistical and thematic analysis.
I am interested in organizational effectiveness, leadership, governance, policy implementation, strategic management, and the management of sport organizations and programs.
