Currently, I serve as an ICT/Solutions Development Specialist at the UN-IOM.

I completed my Master's in Software Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in January 2019 advised by Prof. Naima Iltaf.  I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) in March 2011. 

I am an IoT and cybersecurity enthusiast having over 4 years of research experience at the National Cyber Security Auditing & Evaluation Lab (NCSAEL),  Predictive Analytics Lab,  ProMax IT Solutions, and Security Experts. As a security researcher, actively engaged with the latest trends in Cyber Resilience, Network Security, the Internet of Things (IoT), Machine Learning, and Distributed Systems. My interest in a broad range of collaborative activities has led me to work with national and international researchers to achieve impact and publish in leading journals. I have attended numerous local and international security conferences. Furthermore, I have extensive industrial experience (9+ years) of software development in leading multinational IT organizations plus five years of technical support experience in the public sector.
